How do I get the phase angle from the bh-coherence phase output? the value it outputs is between 0 and 1, what does it represent?

The 0 to 1 range is equivalent to 0 to 360 degrees, or 0 to 2*PI radians.

So let's say I want to increment a counter when the angle is between -45 and 45 degrees, that would be from 0 to 0.125 and from 0.875 to 1.0, is that correct?

Thanks for your help, I have another question, you mentioned in another post that you trained coherence without a threshold, without increasing or decreasing coherence, just displaying the coherence information using a tone that changed frequency with the coherence, is my understanding correct?

how was the results you achieved, did it work and did you get beneficial effects from just observing the coherence?

did you measure the coherence before and after and noticed a change? also where did you get that idea can you point me to any research that used this method of training?

Yes, I used binaural sounds with the amplitude modulated by the coherence value.

I did not use any paper or research. I experimented a lot and that is what worked for me best. I spent probably about 1000 hours connected that way, primarily because it felt good, but also curious about how to control it. I never fully figured that out (the control), but occasionally was able to do it quite well. Yes, it was beneficial, but eventually I switched to meditation which became more effective and lasting (although harder to do at the beginning than a coherence training).
