I would like to make a simple design that uses a MIDI, a bandpass filter, and a threshold that rewards 90% of the time. I have been able to successfully adjust the MIDI nested design to what I need, but I am confused on how to edit the threshold nested design. Any quick tips?

The Threshold element alone can only be used for a manual threshold.
What you want is auto-threshold. Look in the BioEra example designs. You need to use Threshold together with TimeRatio. |

Is this the proper way to make a threshold? Source->Bandpass filter->Threshold->MIDI and additionally Source->Bandpass filter->TimeRatio->Threshold(Thr) for the percentage the threshold is triggered. Sorry for all the questions, thanks again!

Yes, it looks to me about right. You probably want to use Amplitude output of the filter and possibly some smoothing after that.

Great :) Smoothing as in averaging the amplitude? What elements do I need to do that?

Yes. Look for TimeTransform.

Awesome, what time period do you recommend for the average? I’m just doing basic amplitude uptraining.

There is no best value I know of. You need to experiment. I would start at about 0.25 second.

When I try connecting the source to an expression evaluator it adds all 16 channels of the device at once. Here’s a video: https://m.imgur.com/ETuIxad Any way around this?

I can't reproduce it in the new design. It doesn't happen when I open it in the trial version. It also only happens on the first element that channel 1 is connected to. I'm not sure if that helps you identify it at all, but I can work around it and it shouldn't hinder me. Thank you for being so responsive! It's a stark contrast to the Bioexplorer support =)

If you can send the design you show in your video, I will try to reproduce it here. I do need a way to reproduce in order to fix it.

Thanks for your design.
This happens because you selected advanced property "Reconnect all outputs" in the DeviceSet element. |

I can’t get my devices to run. (Q wiz and U Wiz) it’s finding the port fine, but nothing shows on the display.

Thank you! I was able to build the design around that and get it to work. Any thoughts on connecting inner tube to bioera? I see that there is a speed input on the somaticvision element, but nothing else? Any way to link more of the features to the feedback? Or a guide on inner tube and bioera?
