I have an Oscilloscope which its input is connected to an xdf reader and also to a source of real time data.
I control this input using two buttons ,button 1(live data button): for reading data from real time source,
button 2 (playback button) for reading data from the xdf reader. so if i click on live data button , real time data should be displayed in my oscilloscope.
the problem is : sometimes despite the fact that I clicked on live data button my oscilloscope just shows first few seconds of data and it stops working , and even if i close my design and again reload it over and over, it won't be solved .
however i found out a weird solution for it, if i once read data from the xdf reader by clicking on playback button and then click on live data button again , the oscilloscope will just show the data just fine.
why does this occur? what does cause it? what should i do?

There is no way for me to know what is happening without deeper understanding of the design.

Maybe your data rate (sps) from the real time source is different, they both should be the same (unless you reinitialize Oscilloscope and the whole design every time you switch between sources).

no the problem is not the sps . By the way the fact is that there is a filter before oscilloscope , and actually the xdf reader output and real time data source out put first goes to the filter and then filter output goes to oscilloscope. my assumption is the filter somehow is not working!
now considering my assumption, the question would be this: what causes a filter stops working? in what condition a filter doesnt work?
