| After reinstalling biorea and reconnecting the GP8 amp, I am still not getting impedance or sound. It worked before multiple times and then quit having sound. I have tried multiple things from device manager, etc. to recognize the amp. |

The GP8 is not configured or accessed in Device Manager. All communication to J&J devices is via driver included with BioEra.
None of this has anything to do with sound. If the sound is not playing then it could be Windows setting. |

| My client used Bioera once and it worked. Then the impedance and sound did not work the second time. I have installed the GPB via the driver. Please be more specific on how to troubleshoot this. What Windows setting do I need to look at and change? Are there other causes for this? |

BioEra is a development system, the functionality is in the design. Most problems are caused by the design.
To debug you could create a very simple design which only reads impedance (or any signal) and print the values somewhere (like NumericDisplay or even Console with Debugger element). That would tell you if the GP8 driver works and you receive data from the device.
Only after the above is confirmed - start debugging the sound. For example try BioEra's example design which plays continuous tone to find out if there is sound. If not, something in Windows needs to be configured (maybe audio drivers). But that is secondary, first figure out the device. |
