I have BioEra 4.178 and I don't see the Coherence element in the element list. Was it not included until after my version? I searched the 4.000+ Release Notes page and didn't find any note about the addition of Coherence (but some notes about performance improvements to it.

Not sure. Initial version of the element may not have been announced if it was still experimental. Probably around 4.200
